Hands-on with Hulu Plus




Hulu yesterday announced its premium service tier called Hulu Plus, meant to extend the free version of Hulu by offering access to more shows on more devices (including your TV, game console, and smartphone). Hulu Plus hasn’t yet officially launched to the public, but the company plans to send out waves of invitations to users over the coming months. We got our hands on one and gave the service a try.

Rumors of a CDMA-compatible iPhone on Verizon have been around for almost as long as the original iPhone. However, Bloomberg News is now citing two sources that both say it will really, really happen this time, launching in January next year.

Week in Apple: iPhone 4 antenna, iOS 4 review, white iPhone delays




This last week in Apple has been a rollercoaster. First, Apple’s antenna design in the iPhone 4 was declared a “work of genius,” but it turns out that same antenna is causing issues for some users who apparently hold the iPhone the wrong way. Reports: most iPhone 4 line-waiters are iPhone upgraders




Two analyst reports claim that a large majority of customers waiting in line for yesterday’s US iPhone launch were repeat customers. According to Piper Jaffrey’s Gene Munster, 77 percent of those waiting in line already owned an iPhone, while Oppenheimer analyst Yair Reiner found a very similar 76 percent of customers in the same boat. According to the Oppenheimer numbers, the average length of time before upgrade was 14.7 months.
